Fantastic as always and the last 3yrs medals have been the best, only two things to be improved making it easier to see where the chips should be handed in and a sugary treat in the goody bag!! WELL DONE

ps my 6th race and the water stop at 5k was better xx
Thank you for your feedback. The 10K is a non for profit race and has no budget from the council, therefore we rely on sponsorship for it to happen, we will continue to seek a company who will provide a snack for the goody bags as we are aware many runners would like it!
With regards to the chips we realise the signage was too low to see in the crowds so next year it will be higher.
Hi, I am a first time runner, and had hoped to improve sufficiently to be able to run the whole 10k, is it ok to powerwalk part of it. Also I am doing it for the Anthony Nolan and want to know how to post a just giving link onto facebook for my friends to sponsor me
Yes you can power walk part of it, there will be a sweep car travelling at 3mph, as long as you stay in front of that you will be fine, if the car does pass you please finish the course on the path as the roads will be reopening. With regards to the just giving link, we do not have that information, it may be on their website?
Prior to 2010 the 10k route used to take in the historic bailgate which was great, I understand there was construction work going on in 2010 however this has finished. It seems such a shame that the route no longer takes in this very attractive area. Also the new route has more uphill gradients in it, ie the back straight twice.
How many people can you have running the main 10k race? If running for a charity do i have to sponser a charity chosen by you, the organisers or can I choose one myself?
You can have as many people running as you would like, we do only take teams of 3 females or 3 males though, but you can enter more than one team. We do have our two charities that we are supporting but you can run for any cause. You can find out more information about our charities here http://lincoln10k.co.uk/charities/
***Update on the teams, a team can consist of as many people as you like, however, the first 3 runners to cross the line will have their times accounted for, for the whole team***
We are hoping to have things up and running as soon as possible, do email 10keventofficer@lincoln.gov.uk if you would like us to email you as soon as the forms are ready,
Hi Steph, The Primary Race, Secondary Race and Buggy will all be held on Saturday 24 March. There will be staggered starts with the Secondary Race going first, then the Primary and the Buggy Push last. There will be about a 15min gap between each race starting,

Hi Carol,
Thank you for the feedback that’s great! We will keep working on a treat for the goody bag but it all depends on sponsorship.

Hi Simon,
Thank you for your comment, the route has been set for this year however we will take this into account for next year’s race.
