16th Annual ‘Active Nation’ Lincoln 10k Road Race- Sunday 25th March 2012

To all runners who would like to take part in the 16th annual 10k road race, the confirmed date is Sunday 25th March 2012

Exciting news for 2012 is the Healthy Lifestyles, Lincoln College Secondary and the Get Mummy Fit Buggy Push events will take place on Saturday 24th March 2012. We hope this will ensure that all parents/guardians can watch children taking part in these events and not have to worry about rushing to take part in the 10k race as the events will be seperated over two days. Also, it gives these races the credit and attention they deserve and will hopefully be a fantastic day out for all who participate.

All entry forms for all races will be available soon. If you would like to be emailed with updates about the race and informed as soon as the entry forms are available, please email the 10k Event Officer who will email you throughout the year with updates about next years events!

    Hi After having the Lincoln 10k for several years, it always seems so congested at the start of the race. Last year I ran the Trailblazers off-road 10k and they started the race in “waves” which then only allowed a certain amount of people to start the race at any one time which I must say worked well. Maybe this is something that could be introduced for Lincoln 10k especially if, as indicated, there are to be more (7k?) taking part this year.
