16^th Annual Active Nation Lincoln 10K Road Race

We’re proud to say that the Lincoln 10K Road Race has been dubbed the best historic 10K in the country.  It’s no surprise – during the race runners go straight past the magnificent gothic cathedral and finish their race in the atmospheric grounds of Lincoln Castle.

Just 200 runners entered the race when it first started in 1997, and it has grown steadily in popularity, with 5,500 people taking part last year.

In 2011, our race was so popular we had to turn people away, so needless to say, you’ll need to book your place early to avoid disappointment!

These supplementary races have proved hugely popular, so we’ve given them their own day – Saturday 24^th March.

We’re pleased to say that many of our runners take part in aid of a whole host of worthy charities.  For the first time this year, the Active Nation Lincoln 10k Road Race has two designated charities: Bliss and The Princes Trust, find out more about these charities, here.
